Youth Peaceful Protest!

We have some great kids in this community!
A group of high school kids along with BHS graduates have coordinated a peaceful protest coming up this Friday, April 7th from 3-5pm.
The Boerne Star ran a story on the protest in Tuesday's paper. I had an opportunity to speak with a handful of the people involved and they are an impressive bunch. Most were raised here in Boerne and have memories of playing in the Cibolo throughout their childhood. They are not just getting behind an effort, they are doing the background work to be informed. They put this together completely on their own. We did not even hear about it until a couple of days ago and we are incredibly proud of them So, if you have some time on Friday afternoon and want to join them, please do!
The Old Number 9 trailhead is the safest place to park and then follow the sidewalk crossing Herff and continuing walking down Herff as though you were heading to the Farmers Market.
